In the Beginning
Some time ago, I was born into a great family...the Mouzakis family. My mom and dad were, and still are, amazing. When I was born not only did I come home to my parents, but to a 2 1/2 year old sister. I'm sure having two daughters close in age was thrilling to my parents when we were teenagers. Ange and I have always had a pretty close relationship. Granted, there were many a times we just about killed each other, as we got older we realized how much we really do love and need each other. We have a bond that is truly unbreakable.
Our family of four was great, but my parents felt like there was still something missing. Five years later came a little boy. I remember the day my mom went into labor with Peter, and I remember the day that he came home. My dad was so thrilled to finally have his son...and I to have a little brother.
There we were, a family of five and finally complete! Back then, I was too young to think about what God had in store for our family...how our lives would play out. He knew. Through the years, I've realized and truly believe that's all that matters.
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future."
